Track 21 Interiors is a family-run business that, as well as offering a “fantastic array of stock”, also offers prop hire for events and photography, refreshes for hotels and bars, interior design consultancy, restoration and more.
A “barista coffee-to-go service” is also planned for the Triangle shop.
Owners Kerry and Steve Amies, who live in Bitterne Park, only obtained the keys to the Cobden Avenue shop – betwen the Sasanian Persian Rug shop and Triangle Cuts, in the former 'Cash for Clothes' premises – last Friday.
But they say they are already well underway with plans, and hope to open during November – if not before.
“My husband and I have 35 years' combined visual retail experience and it’s always been our dream to open our own shop,” said Kerrry
“We are currently in the process of restoring the site's original Victorian features, including decorative tin wall tiles that have been covered in MDF and ebonised floor boards that were hidden under laminate!”
The business already trades at various markets and fairs, including at Kempton Park and Winchester Antiques Market, and has space at Bournemouth’s Vintage Emporium on Christchurch Road.
