The Kent Road Action Group met on September 6 to discuss areas of concern, especially the issues of industrial traffic using residential roads.

According to the minutes, one interesting update from Southern Water revealed that a decision has yet to be taken on whether to continue to remove sludge from the treatment works by Saltmead by barge (fondly known locally as the Poo Barge, pictured), or whether to switch to lorries.
