Portswood Library is to close at the end of October until mid-November for improvements.

It’s due to be fitted with a new access lift, windows and carpets, and the children’s and family library are to be moved and expanded.

Books issued since the start of October won’t be due back until after the closure, which takes place from Monday, October 29 until Saturday, November 17.
