Police officers will be at Riverside Park this evening (Nov 3), and are asking the public to approach them with any concerns or information that could assist into the investigation of a rape.

An 18-year-old woman was raped in Riverside Park near Woodmill Lane on Sunday evening (Dec 2).
She was walking in Riverside Park between 11pm and 11.50pm when she was approached and raped by a man. She reported the incident soon after.
Police say she was walking along Wessex Lane and into Woodmill Lane. She was raped just off of Woodmill Lane in the Riverside Park sports field.
Police were at the scene on Woodmill Lane on Monday carrying out enquiries.
The man has been described as white with an average build and stubble. It's also believed he may have muddied his clothes following the attack.
Officers from Southampton North Neighbourhood Policing Team say they've increased patrols the area, and that "no one has been arrested at this time. The investigation is ongoing and the woman is being supported by specially trained officers".
Chief Inspector Phil Lamb said: “We know this area of the park is used widely by residents and it’s a popular walk-through and we would like to appeal to those who were in the vicinity last night to get in contact with us.
“Were you in this area last night between 10pm and 1am and did you see anyone or anything suspicious?
“It’s important you get in contact with us and tell us what you know."
CI Lamb added: “If you have any information that could assist, no matter how small or insignificant it might be, it could really help our investigation. Please speak to an officer at the scene or get in contact with us via 101 quoting Operation Scorch or 44180450724.”
