Some ticket offices at railway stations run by South Western Railway, including St Denys and Swaythling, “have been closed for entire weeks”, according to the BBC.

They report that a list provided by a staff member details office closures from October to Christmas, and add that: “Other stations have frequently closed early, from mid-morning. They include some larger stations, such as Farnborough, Eastleigh and Southampton Airport Parkway.”
An SWR spokesperson told the BBC it’s recruiting staff to address the issue, but that staff training takes four months.
