Offers invited in excess of £150,000.

Boats are easy to acquire - but a permanent liveaboard mooring in location that suits your work and family life is a rare opportunity.

This mooring is in central Southampton where you can bring in the boat of your choice - anything up to c. 100ft. - and live life on board.

ABOUT THE BOATYARD

Priory Boatyard is a residential boatyard of 13 moorings. The yard is owned and run by the people who live on the moorings here; single people, families, couples, retired people. Our longest standing resident has lived here for over 50 years.

We are all permanently moored - the boats don’t move, except up and down in the tide that comes in and out twice a day. We are all connected to electric, sewage, water, wifi etc. We look out over a wide stretch of the river, between the railway bridge and Cobden Bridge. We have private parking and a small communal garden.

This is an oasis in the city. We benefit from all the facilities in Bitterne Park and Portswood. We are a 5 minute walk from St Denys train station so commuting is easy . We are a short drive from the airport junction of M27/M3.

The gulls, cormorants, swans, oyster catchers & Dunlins are all around us. We see seals, kingfishers, eels,....if you love wildlife you will love it here.

BUT WHERE DO I FIND A BOAT?

Take a look at websites like www.apolloduck.co.uk to find out how easy it is to acquire a boat and have it towed in. You can find everything from a fixer upper to a fully finished luxury houseboat.

Or how about local boat builder and friend of the boatyard www.marinaboats.co.uk?

They can build you a modern marina boat to your own specification. There are plenty of other specialist boating websites to research.
