Southampton Operatic Society invites you on a musical journey across five continents.
Enjoy highlights from shows including 42nd Street, West Side Story, Hairspray, Sunset Boulevard, Evita, The Lion King, CHESS, Chicago, Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera and many more – all performed by the talented singers, actors and dancers in SOS.
SOS has been performing musicals for over 90 years, starting with operettas and moving on to the modern musicals that audiences know and love today, usually at the NST Campus theatre. This is the first time the Company has produced a compilation show, embracing the opportunity to stage song and dance numbers from shows they would love to do again, others on the future shows wishlist and many that are currently unavailable to licence.
Refreshments (including wine) will be available to purchase during the 20 minute interval. A retiring collection will be taken in support of Headway Southampton, the brain injury charity.
