You can join an intrepid family of adventurers and their musical dog on a quest to find a bear in Sally Cookson’s smash hit family favourite We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.
Based on the much-loved picture book by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury, NST calls this mischievous celebration of play “the perfect treat for families with children aged 3 and up”.
Expect catchy songs, interactive scenes, plenty of adventure and a few surprises along the way.
And families can even enjoy their very own free bear hunt, between 10am - 3pm from May 28 - June 2, enjoying the lovely grounds of the University of Southampton before or after the show – just collect a map from the Box Office and find all the bears to win a prize.
Then on May 25, audiences will be taken on “an amazing and memorable trip into a world of pirates, treasure and mermaids” as one of the nation’s favourite children’s novels, Treasure Island, is brought to life with a lively modern twist, staring TV favourites from CBeebies, Monkey TV and CBBC.
