Mayor of Southampton Cllr Peter Baillie visited Marlhill Copse on Friday (May 31) for a guided tour, and to see where tree felling is proposed.

He also received a petition with over 4,000 signatures calling for a full council debate on the issue, and was asked to support a proposal, said to be a cross party initiative, to declare Southampton a Tree Preservation Zone.
