Bitterne: Two children taken to hospital after ‘car vs pedestrians’ incident

bitterne library stephen gray FOBL 460Police are appealing for witnesses after a “car vs pedestrians” incident outside Bitterne Library on Tuesday afternoon (July 23) in which two children were taken to hospital.

They said one child received an ankle injury and the other cuts and grazes.

It happened at around 3.30pm

Hants Roads Policing tweeted:

“Witness Appeal - 23/0719 at 1536 hours - Car vs pedestrians on Bitterne Road East outside of Bitterne Library. 2 children taken to hosp. One with an ankle injury, the other with cuts and grazes. Police are appealing for additional witnesses. Please quote 44190258321 #1769 #23190"
