The Crafty Fox shows little sign of reopening after what was billed as “remedial work” “until the 26^th July” on the Portswood micro pub and coffee shop’s Facebook page.

Next to an undated sign on the door (photographed on July 31) which talks about work being undertaken for “a couple of weeks” is another stuck on by “Steve – Quiz host” who apologises, presumably to quiz participants.

Underneath the pub’s Facebook post are comments asking about previously organised gigs, and from someone trying to find out how to pick up musical equipment, as well as speculating about the bar’s future.

We called The Crafty Fox for comment but the “mailbox was full”.

The micropub originally opened in August 2018.
