The Friends of Cobbett Road Library are hosting afternoon tea on Friday, September 27 fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The group hold their "coffee morning" in the afternoon because originally a busy toddler group occupied the library’s Community Room in the mornings - although that group has since moved to Tuesdays (see our What's On page for details).
"If you are free, please drop in for a drink, a munch and a chat," say the Friends in their latest bulletin. "We're well provided with tea, coffee and squash, and milk will be laid on, but any donations of cakes or biscuits would be welcome. Setting up will be from around 1pm, and help with that, serving and clearing up would also be appreciated."
The Friends afternoon tea event takes place at Cobbett Hub & Library (SO18 1HL) from 2-4pm on September 27.
