Last year a remarkable Wild West display, part of which is pictured (more pics/report here), complete with actors and plenty of ‘blood’, raised over £400 for charity.
"This year is a classic haunted house theme filled with ghosts, witches and even a giant spiders nest," said the man behind display Liam Arscott, who starts planning months in advance.
All proceeds this year will go to Abby's Heroes, and there will be cash collections on the night.

Cobden Bridge Co-op lends support
"A new feature this year will be a photo booth and a donation hot dog stand to try and raise as much money as possible," said Liam, who said a donation of sweets and helpers from the Cobden Bridge Co-op will prove a huge help.
It all starts from 5.30pm on Halloween at the Haunted House on the Hill, 48 Thorold Road SO18 1JG.

⚫As a "great alternative to Hallowe'en for families of all ages" the Ascension Church is hosting a "Light in the Night Party" from 4.30-6.30pm in the Grace Hall, Ascension Centre, Thorold Road, with an "Olde Worlde history" theme.
"If you like, come dressed up a knight, princess or another olde worlde costume. That means grown-ups too if you can manage it. There’s a suggested donation of £3 per family," says the Ascension's website.
