How’s your broadband speed?

telegraph poleA resident who has recently moved into Macnaghten Road would like to find out what kind of broadband speeds are achievable in the area.

Peter, who is a director of a local web agency, says: “Since I moved in I’ve been having problems getting reliable ADSL - BT say we're too far from the exchange to get more than 2MB, and even that keeps disconnecting. Not knowing anyone else living on our road or round the Triangle, I wondered if other people are having issues?”

Peter says doesn’t know if that is really the best he can expect, or whether he just has a bad line. He is connected to the Hampton exchange in Portswood.

If you live in Bitterne Park or nearby, feel free to add information about your broadband connection by commenting below. Please include the name of your road. Then we’ll all know what’s possible!
