Help ‘Design the Solutions’ in St Denys

St Denys postcard image for news itemThree “Desigining the Solutions” sessions take place in February and March enabling residents to hear the results of a recent survey about St Denys and “work with your neighbours to design practical solutions to some of the issues raised”.

The council’s My Journey team, which are running the events, announced they’d analysed 430 comments about St Denys, and said “with most highlighting concerns relating to traffic, safety, walking or air quality on some of the area’s busiest and most congested roads.”

They have released a flavour of the results as follows:

  •   The most commented on locations were St Denys Rd, Priory Rd and Kent Rd
  •   Most concerns related to traffic, safety, walking and air quality
  •   72% of respondents felt ‘negative’ or ‘somewhat negative’ overall
  •   27% of respondents felt uncomfortable about walking in St Denys
