There are frequent reports on social media of both bike and motorcycle thefts in St Denys, where one local is offering to fit ground anchors and chains for neighbours, and motorcyclists are organising a get-together to discuss the issue.

“Take a photo of your bike and record the chassis number” advise police, who also offer further security tips via their Twitter account.

Neighbourhood police officers will also be in St Denys on Thursday (March 12) from 7pm at St Denys Church Centre, Dundee Road, to discuss issues of local concern.
