Chieftain Training, on the corner of Harcourt and McNaghton roads, offers training courses in first aid, marine safety and navigation.
Principal Doug Innes said that face-to-face training “came to a grinding halt” in mid-March, so, like many, the business had to adapt quickly to stay afloat.

Doug said they had been working flat out launching both online courses and six new webinar courses.
"While our classroom on Harcourt Road is out of use during lockdown we thought we could put the corner frontage to better use with some banners to supports the NHS. We want to show the real heroes of this time that they are appreciated."
Chieftain Training was set up two years ago and is based in what used to be Hallet Print. Before that Doug said the building housed a grocer’s shop.
