They are in Years 9, 10 and 11.
“We know that you may find this concerning, but we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England,” the headteacher’s letter continues. It offers advice in case any children develop symptoms and gives information about several students who now need to self-isolate.
It also outlines steps people can take to stop Covid-19 spreading.
As reported, the school previously wrote to parents on October 15 notifying them that one staff member had tested positive, and then of two student confirmed cases on October 19.
A further letter today (Oct 23) warns that the school has “been managing an increasing number of staff absences linked to self-isolation over the last week” and in response has had to shorten the day for Year 10 and 11 students on Friday.
