Food bank donation drive as demand increases

food bank appeal Nov 6 2020Updated Southampton Coronavirus Mutual Aid Group is again holding food drives for Southampton City Mission food banks, due to what they say is a “huge increase in demand for food support”.

 

The first is this Sunday (Nov 8) at Shirley Parish Hall, St James St SO15 5QF - entrance via Colebrook Avenue - open 14:00-16:00 for donations.

The next will be on Sunday, November 22 at the same venue from 14:00-16:00.

Items requested include: Nappies, tinned meals, toiletries, tinned meats, tinned spaghetti, tinned macaroni and cheese.
