Glenfield is a three form entry infant school currently rated "Good" by Ofsted.
The governing body usually meets 4-6 times a year to assist with the strategic running of school. Currently these meetings are virtual.
Some preparation and reading before meetings will be required, as well as having some visits to school to help support and monitor its running and development.
Governors are there to support and challenge the leadership team and to strengthen the overall running of the school, and some training will be provided.
"Ideally we would like somebody from the local community to join the team. So, if you have a little spare time, want to be a volunteer and would be interested in becoming a governor please do get in touch! We'd love to hear from you!" said the school.
Governors are subject to an enhanced CRB check.
