Volunteers said they had many 'customers' this morning (Feb 19) outside St Denys Boat Club at the Feed the Community Project stall.

• Local parents now delivering food parcels to 60 households a week

They distribute food for free from 11am-12.30pm on Fridays to those who need it, with a main focus on fruit and vegetables. Victoria Ugwoeme, pictured right, said it was also the first day they'd given out items from Southampton Scrapstore - currently closed to the public - which had been going down well particularly with children.
