A Southampton City Council Highways Act notice says that the council "intends to grant Consent to enable the siting of electric scooter docking facilities on the Highway at Bitterne Park Triangle – Junction of Manor Farm Road and Cobden Avenue, Southampton".
Plans indicate it will be on the site of the toilet which was removed in March 2020.

Rental e-scooters can ride on the same road spaces as bikes, including cycle lanes, and are equipped with bright lights and identification plates.
Privately-owned, unregulated e-scooters are not included in the trial and remain illegal to use, except on private land.
