The group meets monthly at each other’s houses to share ideas and impressions about the selected title, and contribute a small item of food to the social. There is no formality, and many new friends have been made through their common love of books.
Numbers have dwindled this year, so the group is now seeking new members who like a good chat and a good read — in fact some fun, and a break from everyday life.
The next meeting is on April 1 at 7.30pm at 96 Hillside Avenue, Bitterne Park.
