Free activities for babies right up to young teeangers will be on offer in Hogland's Park (next to Debenhams) on Friday July 25, 10am - 2pm, celebrating a child's right to play.
Activities will include multi sports and games, painting, messy play,
wood play, drumming, music and dance, dough making, circus skills,
storytelling and drama....and much more.
More
than 20 local children's organisations are coming together to put on
the day. This annual event is part of the national Playday campaign
with
thousands of children across the country enjoying outdoor events.
It's suggested grown ups dress the kids (and themselves!)
for messy play and are forewarned that there is no food or drink on
sale at the event.
