Residents who oppose a ‘PlayFootball-style' football pitch and clubhouse development at Bitterne Park Secondary School are being urged to attend a media photocall outside the Copsewood Road school gates at 6.30pm this evening (Fri), for around 15 minutes. So far there are over 600 names on a petition against the development idea. School governors are expected to discuss the issue when they meet on Monday (Sept 22).
