This amazing 'pre-clock' image of the Triangle was captured in September 1907!

 

It's taken from a postcard, and the photographer is situated at the place where the Sayers Memorial Clock was to be placed some years later. We're told that the shop was Knowling's [Post Office] and the Bitterne Park Hotel and roof of the church hall are visible.
