The Airport Pressure Group is urging residents to get involved with the airport’s current consultation over noise.
“The
Airport feel they are doing plenty to minimise Aircraft noise in our
areas,” says Group Chair Mary Finch. “If you wish to differ, do not
hesitate to make your views known!”
“Let
us not forget that without public awareness and input, we would not
have the very important ‘flying controls’ that help safeguard our
present quality of life — flying controls that we fought so hard for in
the 1990s.”
