Friends of Chessel Bay Local Nature Reserve are all set for their autumn litter pick this October.
Friends and local residents will team up on Saturday October 10 with
Southampton City Council to rid the foreshore and woodland of the
rubbish which accumulates there. Chessel Bay is a very special place
for wildlife in our City and litter picks are an important part of the
care and maintenance of this site.
If you'd like to lend a hand, turn up any time between 10am and 1.30pm
at the end of Quayside road. Wear sturdy clothing. Under 16s must be
accompanied by an adult.
For more information contact the Hawthorns Urban Wildlife Centre 023 8067 1921, or look at the Chessel Bay website
