Tories hold ward seat

Phil Williams has retained his Bitterne Park Ward council seat in the local elections for the Conservatives. 


The results were as follows:

Across the City:
The Conservatives gained two seats
Labour gained one seat
Liberal Democrats lost three seats
No Green or Independent seat change

This means the Conservatives remain in power in Southampton with a total of 28 seats — an overall majority of 8 seats. Labour have 15 seats and the Liberal Democrats have 5 seats.
